Dear Transportation Board,
I strongly urge you to consider allocating a portion of funding from STR132 for the badly-
needed Frontage Pathway. Galla10 Alliance for Pathways can raise matching funds for thispathway, which they estimate will cost $400,ooo. Please step up and commit $200,000 to this
project, and let concerned citizens raise the rest!
Frontage Pathway is an essential part of a safe transportation plan - allowing cyclists, ebikers,and walkers to travel between Belgrade and Bozeman, and gain access to public lands like the
"M."
We just returned from dropping our youngest son at the airport, and passed several cyclists onFrontage Road - where there is lots of car traffic, and very little shoulder. Scary. Why wait for
another fatal accident to make this decision? Cyclists need safe pathways!
