I would like to see all funding from STR132 (the $500,000) to be used for Frontage
Pathway. I am a frequent user of local bike trails and even though there are many short
ones (almost all going north-south) longer, safer trails are sorely needed. As population and
auto traffic will continue to increase around Bozeman- walking/biking trails can take a
surprising amount of pressure off the roads if properly placed. I believe a trail triangle along
Valley Center (some of it already in place) meeting up with Jackrabbit then on to 4 corners
(already in place) and east along Huffine Lane (a short primitive trail is already there) into
the city limits would be a great benefit.
Thank you for your consideration,
Bruce Mickelsen
