USDA Hiring a Public Affairs Specialist in
Bozeman
BOZEMAN, Mont., Aug. 22, 2022 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural
Development (RD) Montana will be hiring a Public Affairs Specialist to work out of the
Bozeman state office.
The purpose of this position is to administer a statewide public information program
designed to maximize public exposure and affirm the mission and objectives of RD. The
Public Affairs Specialist implements a comprehensive information program needed to
address critical issues; explains RD policies, programs, and activities; informs customers
with particular emphasis on socio economically disadvantaged and/or underrepresented
populations; and establishes two-way communication with the public, news media and
elected officials.
The position is expected to post to USAJobs on Tuesday, August 23 and close on
Monday, August 29, 2022. Economic and community development organizations, county
commissioners and job placement agencies are encouraged to share this information with
