Good evening,
I want to express my thoughts of the importance of your approval of the indoor training and hitting facility
and the impact it will have on the youth in our community.
Baseball has always been a player/parent/community supported program.
Volunteers giving huge amounts of their time has been the backbone of the local baseball programs in our
community.
Also, funding for baseball has always been a grassroots effort, with the players, parents, families and the
baseball programs working to raise money to cover the cost of players, equipment and the facilities needed
to run a successful baseball program.
This facility is a great example of everyone working together to provide our baseball program a place to
work and train year-round. It also shows what can be accomplished when a group of focused and motivated
volunteers come together for a common cause. In this case, the cause is the youth in our community.
I ask that you support Bozeman baseball by voting to approve the facility as presented to the city.
