Dear Commissioners,
I am asking that approval is given for the Bozeman Buck's indoor hitting facility. Our son Andrew was
involved in the Bucks program for the last four years. Next fall he will be playing at the college level. During
the last four years, we've had to invest hundreds of dollars a year to ensure that he was able to do batting
practice during the winter. This was a stretch for us as we live on a modest income. Playing baseball is a
passion for Andrew. Ever since he was three years old, all he has ever wanted to do is play baseball. He puts
in the extra work and during the winter gets a little moody when he is not able to go and hit. Baseball is like
Prozac for him. I believe that having this indoor facility will help give our youth something of value to
participate in during the dark winter months when outdoor hitting is impossible. It will also help to improve
the quality of the program. Thank you for your consideration.
