I am the head coach of the Bozeman Bucks B American Legion baseball team. The Bucks program is
important to me because it provides an opportunity for baseball-loving kids in Bozeman to have fun playing
competitive sports, learn to work together as a team toward a common goal, and make lasting memories. I
believe the Bucks indoor facility project is important because in the state of Montana, it is nearly impossible
for players to practice for about five months out of the year. In order to help the players achieve their goals
in the sport, both individually and as a team, offseason practice is imperative. Several American Legion
baseball programs in Montana already have access to an indoor practice facility; the Bucks joining that
group is a salient next step in staying competitive in our conference for years to come.
