COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3211
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE
STATE OF MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT MONIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman is applying to the Montana Department of
Commerce for a Community Development Block Grant, on behalf of Bozeman Interfaith
Housing II, Inc., to assist in development of the second phase of a twenty-unit multi-family
rental housing project to be occupied by very low-income households, including attendant
site preparation and infrastructure extensions; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman has conducted at least two public hearings as part
of the application process to solicit and consider citizen comments on community
development needs and proposed activities to respond to them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
That the City of Bozeman agrees to abide by all federal requirements as described
in the Community Development Block Grant Certifications for Application (Appendix B).
Section 2
That the City Manager of the City of Bozeman is authorized to submit this
application to the Montana Department of Commerce, on behalf of the City of Bozeman, to
act on behalf of the City of Bozeman in regard to this application, and to provide such
additional information as may be required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a regular session thereof held on the 13th day of October 1997.
