Upon receiving the latest letter regarding yet another increase in the tree assessment, I am prompted to
reach out for not only myself, but many concerned tax paying citizens! Until I see a change in how the
money collected by the city for tree maintenance is better & equally spent, I will not only agree to
additional fees, but will no longer pay any tree maintenance fees billed by the city. It has become very
evident that the city discriminates for whom and where they spen their allocated money for tree
maintenance. It is so evident to the discrimination, your own employee Mike Mass admitted to where the
city concentrates the money spent.
My "public streets" have been ignored for years, while others get service year after year. I would appreciate
a response for this I'll regard on the Cities part. I am happy to contact an attorney who could easily prove
the blatant discrimination the city has taken on "whos" trees we actually maintain vs who we charge. Our
bill has quadrupled in 4 years, yet we have literally not receive one service to the trees within a mile radious
of our house.
One pissed off and determined tax payer who would like an amswer.
