I have written to you before and asked for response & you ignore me? I spoke with Mike Mass today and
another member of your staff today who expressed that I reach out to you, and I said why? they don't care,
don't answer and only look out for there special interests, and it's sadly true. I feel so bad for your Frontline
workers who have to deal with your bad decisions!
I have 2 major issues on my docket as a City of Bozeman taxpayer.
#1. I received for the 4th year in a row an increase in my tree maintenance accessment fee. We as tax
paying citizens with trees that need maintenance & that we are taxed on have received ABSOLUTELY NO
SERVICES, OR absolutely lowered to when a homeowner houded you for over a year to finally come cut
down a dead tree. I in no way shape or form will pay an assessment that only caterers to " the rich & special
areas", which is basically what you have done. You have upped and upped my tax to take care of downtown
& the sunset hills cemetery and have done absolutely NOTHING for or too the trees on Baxter, Davis or our
road. I refuse to pay a tax that caters to the rich or more important, when I get get NOTHING FOR IT!
#2. THE HOMELESS ENCAMPMENTS ON OUR STRRETS! I am well aware of the 9th circuit Court decision.
This has been an ongoing issue that our Mayor and commission has let get out of control!!!! You tell the
media all these people are working and can't afford rent, totally NOT TRUE! 80% of them are mentally ill or
on drugs. They are poisoning our waterways, litering and keeping our police busy with constant calls. A
young man beat an older senior and burnt his face with a cigarette the other day, you think this is o.k.?!?!
Again, understand the 9th circuit Court ruling, but what do we do about it?! We don't coward down and
invite every homeless freeloader on the planet to town and welcome them with open arms!!!!!
I am so sick of not being answered, not being heard and being ignored! My voice needs to be heard and
acknowledged!
And yes, as I have asked before, I would like a response to my email and an answer as to how you plan to
address these issues?!
