Dear City Commissioners,
My name is Emily Allison and I work at Bridgercare, the local nonprofit sexual and reproductive
healthcare clinic that has been serving our valley and beyond for over 50 years.
In advance of your Equity and Exclusion work planning session tonight, the leadership of our
organization wanted to strongly encourage you all to include reproductive freedom and healthcare
in the implementation of CEDAW as a part of the City’s resolution. Whatever the city can do at a
local level to support and protect this critical healthcare, especially for our young people, is greatly
appreciated.
