To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed expansion to Fowler. I am a resident of Sweetgrass Ave, one
of the bordering streets.
As a family medicine physician, I have read numerous studies demonstrating the benefits of green spaces and the
loss of walking accessibility with the implantation of large roadways. There are also significant safety concerns
since the proposed expansion would be within a block of an elementary school and alongside a park, where people
already fail to adhere to the park speed limit much of the time.
I appreciate the great difficulties that growing a community like Bozeman could pose. I understand that the
community’s overall function is your concern. Please consider the safety of our school aged children along with the
benefits of wild spaces when debating this project.
