Hello Ms Hyde;
I am writing after looking over the application for site plan 21235.
I live in Aspen Place Condominium, which are situated across Ferguson to the East of
this planned "Six Range Condominium complex".
Here are my concerns:
1) This is a very large developement considering the neighborhood and the small
parcel of land.
2) Currently there are no 4 story buildings in this residential neighborhood. This
developement does not fit in our neighborhood. 3) The exteriors of the planned buildings do not fit the architecture of the
neighborhood, the black siding, flat roofs, black roofing ( which is so counter to what
we should be allowing with global warming. The last thing we need are black
buildings with black roofs throwing more heat into our environment. ) The White 4 story buildings would be better if they were clap board siding with
angled roofs.
My requests:
1) Reduce the size of this project to no taller than 1- 3 stories to fit theneighborhood. And with fewer units.
2) Exteriiors should architechurally fit the neighborhood where all residential
structures are currently clap board siding and angled roof lines. Therefore, redraw
the exteriors to have clap board siding and angled rooflines.3) Eliminate the unnecessary black siding and roofing - for environmental reasons.
4) Paint/or choose white or light colored roofing that will not increase the
temperature of the air in the neighborhood.
I would like to request that the planning committee/board come out and take a look
at the current neighborhood with only 1- 2 story buildings on all sides of this
planned development and they will see how this plan is way out of line for theneighborhood.
Please do NOT destroy our lovely neighborhood with this project. There is land allover the valley that I assume would be better suited for this large project.
Thank you for passing my email onto the appropriate person/s for consideration.
A VERY concerned neighbor;
