Subject: Six Range Condo Development
Bozeman City Planners and Commissioners:
I am writing to oppose the approval of the Six Range Condominium Project. The Six Range project must
meet certain City standards, i.e., the Bozeman City Plan goals, City RO zoning regulations, Regulation
Section 38.500.010 D and Regulation 38.230.100.A.7. Also, the Six Range proposal needs to conform to the
Bozeman Community Plan, page 20: “The needs of new and existing development coexist and they should
remain in balance; neither should overwhelm the other.” This is the basic planning umbrella that the City of
Bozeman has endorsed and adopted.
The Six Range project should not be allowed to overwhelm the existing development in the area, and a
balance should exist between new and old. The Six Range Project should not be approved as proposed.
Instead, the developer should be required to redesign the project so that it blends in with the surrounding
neighborhoods.
