BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JURISDICTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY: • The jurisdiction will participate in the plan development and the lining out of the local hazards and mitigation strategies. • It is the jurisdictions’ responsibility to involve local stakeholders and participate in public outreach engagement. • The jurisdiction will actively coordinate and participate in all planning meetings with the hired contractor and/or state mitigation personnel. *** The Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan will provide detail down to the local jurisdictional level.
