I wrote to you some time ago about Bird scooters littering the sidewalks and even parked in the middle of
curb cuts (ADA violation), but I’ve heard nothing back from your office. What will the city do to address this
problem?
With the absence of any obvious police presence in the city to address overall traffic control and now the
added nuisance of electric scooters ridden on sidewalks, piloted by underage riders, violating traffic rules,
and blocking sidewalks, the city is a free-for-all for inveterate rule breakers. If the city is unable to exercise
some control over the company that rents the scooters and those that use them, they should be banned in
Bozeman as they have been in many locations throughout the world.
