Dear Commission and Staff,
The recommendations included in the consultant report are certainly a good place to start but the PRIORITY is having the swim center open ASAP.
I encourage the commission to
be creative and use partners to expedite the repairs
prioritize the opening of the pool and push for an aggressive timelinebe willing to pay for faster repair contracts versus cheapest available
work with partners to find additional pool alternatives while we await the re-opening of the swim center
focus on getting this facility open and usable BEFORE advancing future plans for a new aquatic center
