Greetings, My name is Nathaniel Pehl and I live across the street from the proposed Six Rangedevelopment (in Valley West). After looking at the planning documents, and reaching out to various parties, I am writing to you to express concern with a few items. First and foremost, I am a strong proponent of developing the land that is being proposed. It is a wonderful area, close to many amenities, and an all-around great place to live. The issuesI have when looking at the planning documents pertain to the height of the buildings, and lack of green space/parks.In pertinence to the height, it is my understanding that this project is seeking to build higher than anything in the area (including the new condos to the west (which fit in well with thecommunity). Not only will this be out of the norm and motif for the area, but will be severely obstructionist to the views of the current residents in all directions (part of the reason we livethere). Furthermore, I believe this would be an exception to the current city code (please let me know if I am incorrect in this).Additionally, there seem to be many other exceptions that the will be putting strain on the already limited resources of the area – such as open space/parks, potential parking issues, etc.Again, would love to see this area be developed thoughtfully and in correlation with the surrounding neighborhoods. I would ask that the city carefully consider the ramifications ofthis project and hopefully work with the developer to create a project that works for everyone involved. Thanks, Nathaniel
