Re: General Fund Grant
Hello,
Please consider these comments as you determine the General Fund Grant and the potential award for
Family Promise of Gallatin Valley. I am a board member of Family Promise since last summer and I have
never worked with such an impassioned, intelligent, and determined group of professionals. The Family
Promise mission is not only to provide shelter for homeless families, but also to provide educational and life
skills training to prevent homelessness from occurring or recurring. The new endeavor "Rising Stars"
affordable daycare center is a shining example of the organization's commitment to provide healthy
environments for families in need. Family Promise is uniquely positioned to provide lasting positive change
for families in crisis and in these inflationary times, our community needs these resources desperately. An
award from this grant will provide the opportunity to expand those resources and provide stability,
assistance, and most of all, HOPE to our Gallatin Valley families.
