Dear Bozeman City Commission and Staff,
Thank you for the efforts that have been made to address our pool crisis and provide water
time for our community. I also appreciate the communication and updates provided on the website.
While these efforts have provided some access and short-term opportunities. The longer-term
and more expansive access and services are still unknown.
I encourage continued work and action on the following efforts:
1) extend Bogert pool hours to include weekends - this can be supported by utilizing swim team certified life guards during swim team practice times.
2) share the recommendations from the consultant on pool operations
3) continue to push for the swim center re-opening plans, timelines and contracting, every
week that passes pushes our access to winter water further away
4) make a plan now to extend Bogert hours as long as possible into the fall or until the swim center re-opens.
