Re: Fowler Connection and Durston.
Can it please be clarified if the city is considering development plans for low income housing on this
property? It is my back yard as a resident on New Holland and as such not only affects my current locations
and the enjoyment of my own property but property values of the entire street. It is not clear to me if the
city intends for MORE development than just the connection road. Can this be clarified?
Also - please note that the cottonwoods to the west provide bird habitat, sound and view shade buffers and
as such I would strongly advocate for the trees to remain along the western edge. Pheasants, Huns, hawks
and migratory birds along with waterfowl and deer have all utilized this space.
Mínimal impact and the least amount of road space would be recommended with natural or xeriscape
landscaping along the corridor. Please be sensitive to the backyard nature of this roadway.
