Thank you for the opportunity to communicate! My concern is the homeless/houseless camps that are
popping up around Bozeman. IE: By Target, by Hemlock/Walmart, etc.
I have deep compassion and empathy for these people, but I have noticed how poorly things are being
maintained. I see several junk vehicles, so much garbage, dogs chained up, cars parked on the wrong side of
the street etc. None of these issue are legal on our streets.
My question what is your long term plan? What will happen when these overflow into other areas in the
city?
I have been here for almost 50 years, and I am open to change and development, but some of these issues
need to be addressed sooner than later.
But by the grace go I, when we first moved here, we make $2.11 cents an hour!
Look forward to hearing from you, we need to be part of the solution, not just the problem. I rent a 950
square foot condo, and keep the rent at $800 per month. Landlords need to be practical, and help solve
some of the houseless problem.
