Hello there! I see that you have an agenda item to change Columbus Day to Indigenous Persons day. I, for
one, would rather keep Columbus Day. If you’d like to create a new holiday for indigenous people I think
that’s an awesome idea! Also, while you’re at it, a more pressing issue in our community is the
homelessness problem that has seemed to erupt over the last year and a half. Just this morning my
neighborhood had issues with cars being broken into in the Baxter subdivision. I would assume that would
be something that may be a top item on your agenda for forthcoming meetings. Thanks so much for your
service!
