Hey Griffin,
I hope all is well! We’re putting together the site plan application for the Cottages at Blackwood
Groves project (#21421) which will includes 65 cottage condominiums spread across Blocks 10 and
11 in the Blackwood Groves Subdivision in south Bozeman (please see attached). The cottages are
smaller than the typical single family dwelling and range in size from 691 – 1,240 square feet.
Because these are condominiums and are smaller in size, we’re thinking the multi-family CILWR
values may be more appropriate as occupancy rates should be more similar to apartment/condo
projects in multi-household buildings/developments. Due to DNRC restrictions on exempt wells, we
will have to irrigate this project with municipal water.
The site plan intake requires the CILWR calculation – are you typically providing this calculation for
the initial application? Please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional
information.
