The landscape architect is watching via WebEx. A landscape question comes up. Could we ask that the person is elevated to speak to the question? The other option is just internal texting to the team on the ground, but with the technology, it seems like it would be better to have somebody speak. Does that help? Robert J. I don’t have a problem if the entire team is not present, but I do expect someone who is knowledgeable about the project to show up and be able to answer questions from the commission. Does that answer your question? Greetings - As you know, applicants are required to be present for public hearings these days . . . and public comment can be in person or through digital means. The question came up: What if some of the applicant team were not able to be in person – could they still participate (speak) online? Example: it makes less sense to fly in an outside consultant for a Super Board Meeting – and then back again for a Commish meeting. Heck, it doesn’t make sense to fly them in at all sometimes, depending on the project. Time, cost, greenhouse gases, airplane peanuts, etc. Could the commission adjust the policy? This is sure to come up along the way with teams from all over. Thanks, RJP Robert J.
