I can't tell you how proud and grateful I am for the effort and care that you all have
demonstrated in the city's efforts to conserve water.
It has long saddened me to drive past parks and yards during a rainstorm or very
windy day and seeing sprinklers going full tilt.
I know the new restrictions aren't going to totally eliminate waste, but it is a step in
the right direction.
Most importantly...your expression of your own personal enlightenment, especially
with regard to your honoring indigenous wisdom (conferring with Dr. Shane Doyle)
gives me great hope for the future.
