Dear City of Bozeman, please provide to Community Development Board for TODAY 5/16/22 mtg & alsoto the City Commission-->ENSURE this email text is put with the attached .pdf as ONE FILE for folks to view, read, and consider. a) Definition for MISSING MIDDLE is way too pared down, and lacks Courtyard style housing/buildings;how about ADUs, and Tiny homes? b) Plus, allowing height of additional five (5) feet for R-3 36-46 ft would allow 41-51ft (four stories... whichis NOT the Missing Middle). Bozeman does need more houses--but not just in quantity. The types and variety of housing are keenly important, too. Different, diverse, and smaller housing is part of "The Missing Middle" and will help address HousingAffordability and Affordable Housing.Key thoughts-- + "Housing constructed in buildings which are... size and design compatible in scale and form withdetached individual homes."+"Thinking big and building small to respond to today's housing crisis." From definition in glossary for 2020 Community Plan for Bozeman, MT (page 145 of 148). Reviewattached 10-slide .pdf file. Please carefully consider inputs... and make important changes in the draft Ordinance 2111 today. Sincerely, Mary Wictor1504 Boylan Rd, Bozeman, MT 59715 P.S.
