PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials. Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached two-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with
a recessed front entry and hipped-roof addition on the south. The one-bay
facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with double-
hung 6/6 or 1/1 windows. The frame construction is finished in 6" drop siding
and rests on a low concrete foundation. The gambrel roof is covered with
grey-green asphalt shingles and features a shed roofed dormer across the
front. There is one central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is parallel
to the street. Outbuildings include a detached gambrel-roofed garage in the
rear.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning personsor events
associated with this property.
Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a
potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect
of the Progressive Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
