Hi hope you guys are well! I am writing to request more tennis courts in Bozeman. I frequently try to play tennis
with my daughters and the courts are full and we are unable to play. Last weekend at both high schools both courts
were full and the nets were not up at Southside Park. Yesterday, all the high school courts were full even after
tennis practice and people had their own nets up at Southside Park. Those courts were full as well with tennis
players and one court of pickle ball players. I know the the Bogart park courts are being turned into pickle ball
courts, but that really only leaves 2 public tennis courts for all of Bozeman that are not associated with the high
school. MSU took their tennis courts down when the bubble collapsed and they are missed. Please consider the
importance of tennis courts. Tennis is a life long sport and many people in Bozeman like to play and either can’t get
a court and have to drive or bike around looking for one without success. Tennis keeps people of all ages healthy
and out of trouble.
