HomeMy WebLinkAbout20448 Notice NOTICE OF A SITE PLAN AND DEPARTURES APPLICATIONS This application is evaluated against the Site Plan criteria of Section 38.230.100, the Landscape Block Frontage Departure criteria of 38.510.030.C.3, and the residential open space departure criteria of 38.520.060.B.1.bof the municipal code and associated standards. Per 38.230.100.B, BMC, approval is granted if all criteria are met. The public may comment in writing regarding compliance of this application with the required criteria. Comments should identify the specific criteria of concern along with facts in support of the comment. Per 38.250.070.B, BMC, issues not raised during public comment period may not be raised on appeal. During the notice period the City will continue review for compliance with applicable regulations. Project Name: Cottonwood Apartments Phase 1 Package D Application: 20448 Summary: Site Plan application for new construction of two apartment buildings, containing a combined 56 rental dwelling units plus accessory parking and open space. The Applicant seeks a Departure from the Landscape Block Frontage requirement to have each ground-floor dwelling’s front door directly facing the street; they propose an alternate design in which the front door lies at a 90- degree angle from the street within a courtyard patio.
