Roundtables Planning Boards – Feb 23 online Elected Officials – March 23 online – share draft agenda with commissioners for feedback Trapline – updates and announcements Belgrade: Zoning regulations for planning jurisdiction at County attorney now and will move forward in adoption process in March 2022. Updating zoning and development standards in City of Belgrade now. Many projects with about 300 acres recently annexed. Underpass project is several years out but will include design and scoping and public meetings. Sewer plan will be partially online by summer 2022 but already looking to expand as our population is expected to reach 20,000 in 9 years. Library project is finalizing project plan. It is expected to take 24-30 months to complete. Grain elevator fire was a multi-jurisdiction fire fight event, and this shows why we plan for emergencies. Gallatin: New assistant director is starting Allison Breake (sp?). She was working in Bozeman but has been based in Washington state. Met with Four Corners Water and Sewer and they are planning their last expansion and will have a very large service area. Important to understand this as the Regional water and sewer study gets underway.

130 unit project on Baxter was approved. There was a focus on road connectivity for this project. Rest home project that includes affordable units for county employees is underway and a consultant (HRDC) has been hired to help map out the development phases. Bozeman: Active transportation plan is on-going. Assistant Planning Director is standing in for our Director as we start a new search. A review of our regulations for affordable housing will end with a presentation on March 1. We are looking a code amendments and PUD, to determine what we can do to make a difference. We implemented the legislative changes required for expedited review process by placing the plat review on the consent agenda.
