COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3239
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONT ANA, RATIFYING THE MA YOR'S
EXECUTION OF CLOSING
DOCUMENTS AND WARRANTY DEED FOR SALE OF THE CARNEGIE
BUILDING.
WHEREAS, Section 7-3-4368, Montana Code Annotated, designates the Mayor as
the proper officer to sign documents for purchase and sale of real property, pursuant to
adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission did, on the 14th day of July 1997, authorize the
Mayor to sign the Buy/Sell Agreement for the Carnegie Building; and
WHEREAS, sale of the Carnegie Building to Cok and Wheat, Attorneys at Law, is
now complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, that it ratify the Mayor's execution of the closing documents and
Warranty Deed to transfer ownership of the real property located at 35 North Bozeman
Avenue, more commonly known as the Carnegie Building, from the City of Bozeman to Cok
and Wheat, Attorneys at Law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a regular session thereof held on the 1 st day of June 1998.
