NO PAVER BLOCKS SHALL BE PLACEDTHEREON UNTIL THAT AREA HAS BEEN APPROVED BY ONE OF THESE PARTIES.7.PERMEABLE PAVER BLOCKS MAY BE HAND-PLACED, MECHANICALLY INSTALLED, OR FABRICATED INTO MATS BY THE USE OFREVETMENT CABLES. MATS, IF USED, SHALL ARRIVE AT THE JOBSITE ASSEMBLED ACCORDING TO LENGTHS AND WIDTHS ASSPECIFIED ON THE SHOP DRAWINGS.8.THE PAVER BLOCKS SHALL BE PLACED ON THE GEOGRID SEPARATOR AND AGGREGATE BEDDING LAYER SO AS TO PRODUCE ASMOOTH PLANE SURFACE. NO INDIVIDUAL BLOCK SHALL PROTRUDE MORE THAN ONE-QUARTER OF AN INCH (1/4") OR AS OTHERWISESPECIFIED BY THE ENGINEER.9.IF INSTALLED IN MATS THE PERMEABLE PAVER BLOCKS SHALL BE ATTACHED TO A SPREADER BAR OR OTHER CONVENTIONAL DEVICETO AID IN THE LIFTING AND PLACING OF THE MATS IN THEIR PROPER POSITION BY THE USE OF A LARGE, TRACKED EXCAVATOR OROTHER APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT. THE EQUIPMENT USED SHOULD BE ADEQUATE CAPACITY TO PLACE THE MATS WITHOUT BUMPING,DRAGGING, OR OTHERWISE DAMAGING THE AGGREGATE BEDDING LAYER. THE MATS SHALL BE “ZIPPERED” TOGETHER FORMING ASEAMLESS MAT-TO-MAT CONNNECTION.10.UPON COMPLETION OF THE PERMEABLE PAVER BLOCK INSTALLATION, THE SURFACE INFILTRATION RATE OF THE PAVEMENT SHALLBE VERIFIED BY ASTM C1701M-09 OR ASTM C1781 TO CONFIRM THE REQUIRED INFILTRATION RATE OF THE PAVEMENT. IF THE SYSTEMFAILS TO PERFORM AS REQUIREDIT SHALL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED AT THE INSTALLER'S COST.11.WHERE PAVER BLOCKS ARE USED FOR PATHWAYS, THE TWO TO THREE INCH (2" - 3") CLEAN, WASHED STONE (AASHTO #2 OR #3) MAYBE OMITTED.
