John –
I’m working on a site plan application for the Vance Thompson Vision building in the Catron Crossing
Subdivision. I was advised to contact you in regards to the length of the water service from the main to the
proposed building exceeding 150’ in length (utility plan attached). Due to the size of the lot and the location of
the mechanical room, the proposed 2” water service is approximately 250’ with one 90 degree bend. Would
this be allowed as an exception to BMC 38.10.070 (B)(2)? Thank you for your help!
