To the City commissioners:
I am against your recent decision to provide $500,000 in TIF monies to subsidize the construction of luxury condos in NE Bozeman (Wildlands project). I am not against vertical
development - however I am against the ravaging of our town by avaricious developers who are only building condos for the ultra-rich. We are in desperate need of affordable housing
for the workers in town. I would be happy to use TIF funds to subsidize affordable, vertical dense housing in town. But not for condos for the rich as in the Wildlands project.
Again, I am bewildered why you don't stand up to the Hallorans - who are single handedly
destroying our landscape and exploiting our land for Yellowstone club members. Where is your courage - we need you to fight for aesthetically-pleasing affordable housing that will
help our town.
