To alleviate the parking issues we havein Downtown Bozeman, you are suggesting we pay for parking. I see this as a huge issue dueto the fact that you are allowing developers such as Andy Hollaran to build apartmentbuildings and the newest AC hotel with little to no plans for parking. It seems like thecommon interest here is money rather than strategic planning. Making choices to invest in a short term profit leaves our community with the issues we arefacing now that are only destined to grow without policies in place. The paid parking plan isn'tgoing to keep people from parking downtown, it is going to push people to park in residentialneighborhoods that are not set up for the kind of parking and traffic that they are alreadyseeing. I am not in support of the paid parking plan, and I urge you to reconsider. What are the truegoals here? Is it to make more money, or "better our community"? Kindly, McKayla Murphy 211 Sanders AveBozeman, MT 59718
