Distinguished members of Bozeman's City Commission,
82% of the 220 Active Bozeman Community Members who participated in a January
2020 Northeast Neighborhood Association Survey support and endorse Safe and
Quiet Rail Crossings at L Street and Rouse Ave. in Bozeman.
We understand the City has been researching options for covering the cost of making
the L Street and Rouse Street Rail Crossings safe. We appreciate this effort.
The Northeast Neighborhood Association wants to make sure the Commission
understands making these crossings Safe and Quiet is a very important issue in ourcommunity.
The Northeast Neighborhood Association encourages the Commission to make the
installation of Safe and Quiet Rail Crossings at Rouse Ave. and L Street Crossings apriority.
The sooner these crossings are safe, the sooner our community can safely cross the
rail line at Rouse Ave. and/or L Street.
The sooner these crossings are quiet, the sooner our community's quality of life
improves.
Thank you,
Reno Walsh
