Developer plans on doing cash in leu of open space and parks.
I am opposed to this proposition. Cash in leu evaporates and disappears.
Parkland and open space remain forever. The surrounding neighborhoods need to have
these park amenities
to maintain their character of actually being a neighborhood.
Also, It is not fair for the developer and city officials to not adhere to other established
guidelines.
