I think that the commission should review options for paid parking in the garages and lots. It would make
more sense to not have to pre-pay. I personally avoid the garage when I am not sure how long I will be
downtown because I don't want to pay for parking if it would have been free because I was there less than
2 hours.
I recommend investing an option like the parking garages have in Las Vegas where the casinos can validate
parking. If stores, restaurants, or theatres downtown can validate parking for customers who purchase
something, I think more people would be more likely to utilize the garage because they aren't having to pay
extra to park.
