This time about your plans for setting limits on water usage....DON'T BACK DOWN. Every time I drive past a space that is irrigating during a rain event....I want to scream. Or when people water their pathetic lawn grass every day. This is not a joke....it is a crisis. Thank you for taking it seriously and hopefully in the face of public pushback...you will stand firm. Last summer, I shut off the irrigation to my backyard. Did the grass turn brown? Of course. Is it "dead"...nope. Just dormant. For the last year plus, I have been collecting the water that normally would go down the drain waiting for the temp to be warm enough to be comfortable....and then I use it to flush the toilet. Is it a hassle? Not really? Is running out of water a hassle??? So, please push those water use regulations as far as you possibly can. Our lives....forget the life of our lawn...our lives depend on it.
