I would vote against this. We have already lost our town to "out of staters", horrible traffic issues, loss of
views from high rises, and ridiculous inflation on housing. And even tho' most locals have accepted all of
this, albeit reluctantly, charging them to park in their own downtown seems like the last straw in driving
them away from downtown for good. I know more tourists use the downtown than locals, but some of us
still shop at Owenhouse, go to the bank, the Co-Op, and have some favorite downtown stores we frequent
regularly and charging us to park sends out a very negative message.
I would like the City to come up with a better plan.
