Special Use Permit - Narrative
We are pleased to submit this narrative for the Special Use Permit for the AC Hotel.
a. How the site for the proposed use is adequate in size and topography to accommodate such
use.
The AC Hotel site is now developed with a 90Ksf hotel that has a bar area on the 1st Floor
as well as on the 6th Floor where alcohol will be served. The bar areas have been purposely
designed to accommodate groups of people gathering in a bar setting.
b. How the proposed use will have no material adverse effect upon the abutting property.
The bar areas in the AC Hotel are contained wholly within the boundary of the AC Hotel
property. Patrons of the bar areas will remain on property when being served or
consuming alcohol that is served at the AC Hotel. No material adverse effects will be
experienced by the abutting property.
c. That any additional conditions stated in the approval are deemed necessary to protect the
public health, safety and welfare. See Section 38.230.110.E.3, BMC for more details.
Applicant does not believe that any additional conditions stated in the approval are
deemed necessary that have not already been addressed in the Site Plan review and
approval or are not able to be enforced by code compliance officials at later date if
needed.
