Eng 120621 APS Sewer Main Diameter DSSP Section V (B.10) -
The minimum diameter of
a sewer main is 8 inches
and PVC pipe shall be
used for all sewer mains.
The adjacent sewer main
proposed to be utilized by
the subject property and
located within the Alley is
a 6-inch, Vitrified Clay
Pipe (VCP), which given
the age of the asset may
need to be upsized and
replaced to PVC given
the localized condition
adjacent to their property.
It is engineering’s
understanding that the
applicant intends to utilize
the existing service.
However, engineering
needs current information
to confirm the condition of
the VCP. Engineering is
requesting the applicant
to perform a NASSCO
compliant pipeline
condition assessment,
which is a certified
inspection/report which
documents the existing
condition of pipe. The
assessment must be
conducted between
Manhole ID: G0532 and
the subject properties
adjacent south boundary.
The applicant is advised
to contact the engineering
department to discuss the
condition assessment
requirements prior to
completing the
assessment

This parking space should
be removed from the site

towards the proposal

not adequate without
counting space in front of
