I haven't seen you guys in a while so I could yell "WarEagle!". Sure is fun watching basketball these days. I'm reaching out to just share the Ale Works's Ownership teams take on parking meters downtown. Honestly we feel pretty strongly that they are not a good idea. As a downtownbusiness, we are noticing an increasing amount of reluctance from Bozeman residents that don't live downtown to venture this way. As we continue to see sprawl, many people areavoiding downtown and the reason they give most is parking. We definitely see the need for another parking garage, but don't feel meters are the way to pay for it. We feel this will onlygive Bozemanite's another reason to avoid downtown. We also believe, and this is through experience, that more people will park in our parking lot to walk downtown to avoid having to pay for parking. We have more parking than just aboutany business down here, but as you can probably attest to after frequenting us on Friday nights, we need all the spots that we have. So in short, our vote would be a strong no to parking meters. Respectfully, Roth JordanCorporate Chef/Partner Montana Ale WorksBozeman, MT
