Bozeman ave and would like to implore the commission to add paid parking downtown, add permit street parking for residents close to downtown, and add speed limit signs and enforce them. S. Bozeman avenue is narrow, even more so in the winter, and travels straight to Main St. There is no speed limit posted on S. Bozeman ave and vehicles travel very fast. There are many children that walk to Longfellow Elementary school and play in the area, walking or riding to Bogert Park for example. The streets are always lined with vehicles. People park and walk to main street downtown. Kids on the sidewalk can’t see over the cars lining the street. My 7 year old son was hit by speeding pick up truck in Oct and suffered a broken leg. He wore a cast from his groin to his toes for 3 months. My neighbor is 81 years old and today I helped him get his car unstuck in the snow because he had to drive down the alley because he couldn’t park in front of his house because of all the cars. Please post speed limits, provide more and paid parking and add permitted parking for residents in the downtown area. Thank you, Marcus Cain
