Dear City Commissioners,
Please require the developer to save the beautiful brick and columned entry of the old Bozeman Deaconess
Hospital building, and incorporate it into his new building.
If Mr. Holloran can save a small piece of Missoula’s iconic brick Macy’s building and work it into his new
design, surely he can do the same in Bozeman.
Look at how wonderfully the new Armory hotel has incorporated the old Armory building.
My children were born in the old hospital and I feel it deserves a better fate than the wrecking ball.
Please save a piece of Bozeman’s heritage and one of architect Fred Willson’s many wonderful contributions to
the look of our community.
