My comments are for the proposed R-3 zoning and development at 2303 S. 3rd Ave. My wife and I are the
owners of the property that borders this proposed development to the south. Please consider denying this
development, as it is too much density for this area of town. S. 3rd Ave is a very busy street, and this will
add to that, and increase the danger to motorists and pedestrians in the area. Where are all those vehicles
to park? At just over 1 acre, after the units are constructed, they need parking? With limited parking,
vehicle will most likely be pushed into the surround neighborhood. Where are the residents suppose to
walk? There is no sidewalks on S. 3rd Ave. This proposal would directly effect my family and the developer
has never reached out to us, as we are probably the most directly effected by this development. My family
and I are worried about the large trees that separate my property from this development, as they are very
mature trees and are part of the reason we bought our property. I completely understand we need more
living unit is in town, but please consider not approving this development. Thank you for your time.
