Bidders for the above project are hereby informed that the drawings and/or specifications are modified,
corrected or supplemented as follows:
DRAWINGS:
I. All drawing sheets:
a. Refer to General Note 1: Revise to read: In the gymnasium, 12” diameter duct shall be
24 gauge, 24” diameter duct shall be 22 gauge.
SPECIFICATIONS:
I. See attached: General Project Information.
II. Refer to 23 3100 DUCTWORK: Revise paragraph 2.1 to read: In the gymnasium, 12”
diameter duct shall be 24 gauge, 24” diameter duct shall be 22 gauge.
PRIOR APPROVALS:
Approval is given for the following items for general conformance to the project requirements. It is the
responsibility of the contractor and equipment supplier to provide equipment and products that meet all the
requirements of the plans and specifications. The Engineer reserves the right to reject any product that
does not fully meet the project requirements regardless of prior approval.

Story Mill Community Center
HVAC & Electrical Renovation
General Info:
During this project, the Recreation Division (RD) will have programs running in the
Story Mill Community Center that involve children. Please be mindful of this during
construction activities.
The Parks and Recreation Department main office is located in the Story Mill
Community Center and is open to the public from 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
There are also multiple staff offices onsite. Please be mindful of this during
construction activities.
The RD has very specific COVID 19 protocols that need to be followed. More
conversations involving the details will take place prior to the project starting.
Restrooms are reserved for staff and program patron use. Contractors will use the
public restrooms located to the East at the park.
City will provide a laydown area on the East side of the building by dumpster
enclosure. If area is needed inside the building, it will be coordinated with the RD
and materials will be coned off from public.
Work areas are required to be cleaned every day, trash will be placed in site
dumpster. Large construction debris removal will be coordinated by contractor.
No smoking, profanity, or loud music will be tolerated.
General contractor parking will be allocated at the time of the project, please do not
park by the front entrances.
Facilities will provide access control FOB to construction led to access building.
