Please do not allow the
Old Bozeman Deaconess Hospital at 15 W Lamme to be torn down.
The hospital, designed by Fred Willson, is one of our very few
remaining Grand Buildings in town. I believe future generations will
be thankful for its preservation. If this town must be infilled and
the neighborhoods must be urbanized at least we can retain this bit of
Historic Bozeman and the city’s history.
Just as the Old Willson School and the Armory were incorporated into
new construction, the Old Deaconess Hospital should be too. Once it’s
gone, it’s gone forever and cannot be restored.
