I submit my input regarding the North Central development of Old Bozeman Deaconess Hospitalproperty located at 15 W. Lamme St. The city of Bozeman is fortunate to have a diverse inventory ofhistorically significant structures that contribute to its history and concurrently our Nation’s history.Significant not only due to the architectural esthetic but also the narrative and tribute of an epoch.Any development that disassembles this current structure would erase this meaningful contribution.As Bozeman’s modern development encroaches into residential neighborhoods, we must considerthe importance of maintaining the compatible interface of our historic neighborhoods and thehistoric downtown. Please do not allow the destruction of this iconic structure; rather, restore andrenovate so as to conserve our city's legacy and preserve our history.
