PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make the intersection at Oak and Flanders Mill safe! It is a very large intersection
with no controlled traffic. Please add a light with a left turn arrow. Some of the kids in the valley are driving
as young as 14 1/2. All new drivers lack the experience to navigate an intersection like that safely on a
regular basis. I regularly see adults just "go for it" to try to get through there. Kids will feel the pressure
even more as adults and peers behind them wait. There is just too much traffic at the beginning and end of
school days to keep it as it is. The elementary is right up the street and several students from both there
and the high school ride or walk to and from class.
